It’s warmup time for Wimbledon for cutie pie, Patty Schnyder after running into a tough fellow-cutiepie, Ana Ivanovic in the Quarterfinals of the 2008 French Open.
Ana burned up the clay courts in her previous matches, and did the same against Patty. Patty lost in straight sets, 3-6, 2-6.
As the 10th seed, Patty made a good run. But the 2nd seed Ana was just too tough. With Wimbledon just around the corner, Patty should be ready to make a good run there as well. She made it to the 4th round last year, which was her best showing at Wimbledon so far in her career. Hopefully she can do even better this year.
