Nicole lost the first set 4-6. She then picked up her game, getting to a second-set tie-break. At that point she really stepped up her game, not allowing her opponent a single point in the tie-break. She then went on to win the third set, 6-3.
Nicole’s opponent in the quarterfinals will be 133rd ranked Jie Zheng of China. Zheng is the one who defeated # 1 world ranked cutie pie, Ana Ivanovic in the 3rd round. So it could be a tough match for Nicole. Go Nicole. You can do it!
