Elena Dementieva photoRussian tennis cutie pie, Elena Dementieva, has easily made her way into the 2nd week of the 2008 U.S. Open tennis tournament. She has yet to lose a set through three rounds.

Elena Dementieva won in the 1st round 6-4, 7-5 over 78th ranked Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan. In round two, Elena picked up steam and won convincingly over 49th ranked Pauline Parmentier of France 6-2, 6-1. The steamroller kept going in round three with a straight sets victory, 6-3, 6-4 over 87th ranked Anne Keothavong of England.
