One of our Russian cutie pies is a winner! Elena Dementieva defeated compatriot Svetlana Kuznetsova in the final tennis match of the WTA Dubai Tennis Championships on Mar. 1, 2008.
Dementieva dropped the first set 4-6. She went on to win the final two sets, 6-3, 6-2 to win the WTA Dubai Open title.
She is pictured here holding the trophy she won. Hopefully that will boost her ratings so more companies will be after her for photo shoots like the last picture of her on this site!
