Cutie pie, Daniela Hantuchova, is seeded 7th in the Sony Ericsson Open Tournament in progress in Miami March 26 – April 6. Daniela had a bye into the 2nd round, won that match over Milagros Sequera, but then lost to Ai Sugiyama of Japan in the 3rd round.

The highest seed of the eight cutie pies playing in this tournament is Ana Ivanovic at # 2. She had a bye into the 2nd round, won her match, but lost to Lindsay Davenport in straight sets in the 3rd round.

Anna Chakvetadze is seeded 5th. She won her 2nd round match after an opening round bye, and will play Sabine Lisicki of Germany in the 3rd round.

Elena Dementieva is seeded # 10. Having an opening bye, she won her 2nd round match, then defeated Dominkia Cibulkova in a tough 3-set match, 6-0, 6-7 (1), 6-4. She will play the winner of the match bewteen Savine Lisicki and cutie pie, Ana Chakvetadze.

Patty Schnyder is seeded 11th. With a bye into the 2nd round, she won that match, then lost in straight sets to Kaia Kanepi of Estonia, 0-6, 1-6.

Nicole Vaidisova is seeded 12th. She had a bye, then lost to Russian Alisa Kleybanova 4-6, 0-6.

Maria Kirilenko is seeded 26th. After an opening round bye, she lost a hard-fought heart-breaking 3-setter to Sara Errani of Italy, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2).

The final cutie pie in the tournament is unseeded Caroline Wozniacki. She has won three rounds and will now face 6th seed, Venus Williams of the USA. That should prove to be a touch match for Caroline.
