Danish cutie pie, 18-year-old Caroline Wozniacki made it to the Semifinals of the 2008 WTA Banka Koper Slovenia Open being played in Portoroz, Slovenia July 21-27.
She reached the Semifinal match by defeating 65th ranked Vera Dushevina of Russia in an easy straight sets Quarterfinal match, 6-0, 6-1. Caroline, the 3rd seed, then lost her Semifinal match to 8th seed, Sara Errani of Italy in straight sets, 4-6, 4-6.
Making the Semifinals is a good effort. Way to go, Caroline!
