The 2008 WTA Zurich Open started off well for Russian tennis cutie pie, Maria Kirilenko as she won her first match 7-5, 6-2.
No. 32 ranked Kirilenko’s opponent was another featured cutie pie, 14th ranked Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia.
Her second round opponent was 23rd ranked Francesca Schiavone of Italy. Kirilenko lost that match 3-6, 5-7.
Kirilenko has been up and down the last part of this tennis season. Going back to mid August, Kirilenko lost in the 1st round of three tournaments in a row, including the US Open. Then she won the WTA Tour Hansol Korea Open, followed by losing in the 1st round of the next two tournaments. Add to that this 2nd round loss, and has not had a good record the later part of this season.
However, she still looks good, so she remains a top featured cutie pie on this site!
