Danish tennis cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki, has cruised through the first two rounds of the 2008 U.S. Open. The 18-year-old has only lost six games total in the entire first two matches.
Caroline Wozniacki’s first victim was 146th ranked Ahsha Rolle of the USA. in a lopsided match, 6-2, 6-1. Caroline’s second victim was 133rd ranked Maria Elena Camerin of Italy, with a similar score, 6-1, 6-2.
Caroline’s next opponent/victim is 14th ranked Victoria Azarenka of Belarus. Azarenka, who is only 19 years old, made it to the 4th round of the US Open last year, so this should be a tougher match for Caroline. But I’m sure Caroline, who is currently ranked 18th in the world, can handle it. After all, she is fresh from her championship win at the WTA Tour Pilot Pen Tournament. So she is in a winning mood, which means more victims will fall.
