Seventeen year-old Danish cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki, is in action here in her third round match at Wimbledon. Caroline played her heart out, but came up just short against the world’s # 3 Jelena Jankovic of Serbia.
Caroline came out aggressively and won the first set 6-2. The second set was close and nerves seemed to get to her a little as she began to realize how close she was to a major win at Wimbledon. She lost the second set 4-6. Jelena then poured on the pressure winning the final set 6-2.
This is only Caroline’s second appearance at Wimbledon. At the young age of 17, she has many chances ahead of her. Look for great things to come as she gains a little more experience. She may be hard to stop!
