Seventh seed, Nicole Vaidisova is the 2nd of our featured cutie pies to get beat out of the Pacific Life Open tournament going on in Indian Wells, CA. She is pictured here returning a shot against Casey Dellacqua of Australia on Saturday. Nicole lost the 3-set match 1-6, 6-3, 4-6. Maria Kirilenko got beat out in the 2nd round by another cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki.
The other cutie pies are all still advancing. Number 1 seed, Ana Ivanovic advanced to the 3rd round with a 3-set win 6-1, -7, 6-0 over Romanian Ioana Raluca Olaru.
Fourth seed, Maria Sharapova, moved through the 2nd round with an easy win over Stephanie Cohen-Alora recording a breadstick-bagel win 6-1, 6-0, followed by a 3rd round 2-set win over 25th seed, Eleni Danilidou from Greece.
Fifth seed, Daniela Hantuchova, moved into the 3rd round with a victory over American Angela Haynes, 7-5, 6-2. She is on to the 4th round with a 2-set win over Jo Zheng from China, 6-4, 6-2.
Unseeded Caroline Wozniacki is into the 4th round with a victory over Aiko Nakumura of Japan, 6-2, 6-0.
