Well done sir, well done
Old news perhaps, but Fish wins his first title in 3 years and breaks the Delray curse. That is, he was the first #1 seed in the history of the tournament to win the title. If you somehow saw this coming (clearly you have contacts with God) then you should be writing a tennis blog semi-daily and have tons of followers! If your a human, and this is a massive suprise to you… join the rest of us!
I made a bet and gave my Boss 4:1 odds on Fish not winning the tournament and somehow… I’m out $20. Next week I plan to bet him $100 that I don’t win the lottery… The same odds there in my somewhat humble opinion (but with my luck I’d win $10 in the lottery and be out another $90)
Anyway, I’ll still be betting against Fish and Blake all day long (GO USA in Davis Cup!) but Fish got me this time so credit where it is due… well done Mardy. He is a fun player to watch and has a ton of game, so even if it means me being horribly innacurate with my predictions I wouldn’t mind watching him have some continued success.
Good result Evgeny, as it’s certainly hard to play your way all the way through qualies and then get to the finals of an ATP event (even if it is 250).
