Good news all you single guys – Maria Sharapova’s engagement is off so she is back on the list of eligible possibilities for your dating list.
Sharapova was engaged to former NBA player, Sasha Vujacic from Slovenia. They began dating in 2009, got engaged in October 2010, and quietly called off the marriage three months ago.
Sharapova was asked about it at the US Open. “I was waiting for someone to actually ask me that question, but nobody did directly … I have never really been the person to announce things. I never announced when we were together or never announced that we were engaged. I never have in any of my previous relationships, as well.”
I wonder if she returned the $250,000 engagement ring?
